gMax 2 Solid State Relay (SSR)

In stock

The gMax 2 external solid state relay combined with Marlin 1.1.9 allows for PID bed tuning resulting in much smoother and tuned bed heating. The relay can maintain more reliable targeted temperatures with less heating distortion. PID values have been pre-set in the firmware upgrade but you can perform your own PID tuning from the LCD screen to better match your environment.

Please refer to the diagram in the images and select the correct wire version for your gMax 2 from the drop down.

Connector Type 1:
For older gmax 2 printers, the wires are already pre-installed and coming out of your gMax and the relay will attach to them. Refer to the diagram in the images.

Connector Type 2:
For newer gMax 2 printers, plug the relay into the back of the gMax printer. Refer to the diagram in the images.

Note, to use the new solid state relay you must install the new Marlin 1.1.9 firmware from our forum otherwise PID tuning will not function.
